META is one of the most popular conferences focusing in the area of metaheuristics and their applications. As in the previous six editions, META'2018 will provide an opportunity to the international research community in metaheuristics for optimization and machine learning to discuss recent research results, to develop new ideas and collaborations, and to meet researchers from diverse countries in a friendly and excellent atmosphere.
META'2018 welcomes submissions that cover any aspects of metaheuristic research such as new algorithmic design and implementation, real-life and academic applications in science and industry, theoretical developments, and experimental analysis. META'2018 strives for a high-quality program completed by a number of tutorials, workshops and special sessions.

HPOI will be part of the International Multi-conference on Information Society (IS 2018). It will be a forum for presenting use cases and exchanging experience among industrial partners already deploying high-performance optimization, as well as stimulating further proliferation of the methodology through promotional activities, and establishing direct collaboration between academia and industry.
HPOI 2018 welcomes papers that cover any aspects of high-performance optimization research and its deployment in industry. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to high-performance computing, single- and multiobjective optimization, evolutionary computation, surrogate modeling, surrogate-based optimization, and industrial applications.
